How often will Salford Speakers meet?
We will meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month.
Please note that this is not the same as meeting every fortnight.

Check the home page  for any last minute changes, before travelling.

What time is the meeting?
7:00pm pre-meeting, 7.30 pm start to finish around 9:30pm

Where is the meeting?
Agnes Hopkins Centre – Swinton.

How much does it cost?
Visitors are always welcome FREE of charge.
You may visit as often as you like without joining.
Membership works out at about £5 per meeting.
There is an initial joining fee of £36, which covers the member’s materials and a fee to Toastmasters World Headquarters.
Then there is a 6-monthly fee of £60 paid by a £10 pm Direct Debit.

(Because we allow you to pay the £60 as £10 per month, we do expect that you will continue the DD for at least 6 months).

Members get the full Toastmasters International training package, a monthly magazine and more.

How should I dress?
Casual or smart, it’s your choice.

Can I contact the meeting by phone?
No. We do not have phone contact during the meeting and telephoning the venue will not be useful.

What if I’m late?
Please make every effort to be in the meeting room between 7 and 7.30.

Should you arrive after the meeting has started please wait in the area outside the door and only enter during a part of the meeting between speakers – such as when you hear applause.
